Compassionate Care and Expert Guidance
Mina Ognjanovic MHA, IBCLC, PMH-C, CST, BFA, PPD
Hello, and welcome to my professional page!
I am a highly experienced International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) based in Los Angeles, dedicated to providing expert lactation consultation and support to families in need. With over 15 years of experience in the field, I bring a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and a holistic approach to every consultation.
In addition to my expertise as an IBCLC, I am certified in Craniosacral Therapy (CST) and bodywork, enabling me to support infants and parents through gentle techniques that address feeding challenges, tension, and alignment. My specialized training enhances my ability to provide care tailored to infants who face unique difficulties, such as tongue ties, latch issues, and postural imbalances.
I am also Perinatal Mental Health Certified (PMH-C), equipping me to address the emotional well-being of parents during this critical time. I recognize the deep connection between mental health and the breastfeeding journey and strive to create a safe, supportive space for families navigating challenges in both areas.
Whether you are seeking guidance as a first-time parent, support for a high-risk or NICU graduate, or mentorship as a healthcare professional, I am here to empower you with evidence-based care, cultural humility, and unwavering advocacy.
Let’s work together to support you and your family on this journey
In my private practice, I prioritize personalized care, ensuring that each family receives the support and guidance tailored to their unique situation. My expertise encompasses a wide range of lactation challenges and needs, from essential breastfeeding support to complex cases involving NICU graduates and high-risk patients.
As a mother of three teenagers and a first-generation American, I deeply understand the cultural and personal nuances that influence a family’s breastfeeding journey. This insight has been invaluable as a patient advocate and educator, allowing me to connect with and effectively support families from various backgrounds.
My approach is holistic and evidence-based, ensuring that my advice and strategies are rooted in the latest research and best practices in lactation support. Beyond individual consultations, I have been instrumental in facilitating a community breastfeeding support group for over 23 years, offering a space for shared experiences and collective learning.
Thank you for considering my services. I look forward to working with you and your family providing the expert care and support you deserve.
